Go GREEN this Holiday Season
The IIAM Foundation is conducting a fundraiser
that is affordable, convenient and benefits our environment. On Saturday January
10th, parent volunteers will be picking up your Christmas tree and taking it to
Home Depot to support the "One for the Chipper" recycling campaign. Pick up areas are limited to
Mableton, Austell, and Smyrna.
Cost of participation is $10. To participate, please email treeprogram@iamableton.org with
your name, address, sub-division/neighborhood (if applicable) and phone
number. Payment can be made by check or cash attached to the tree or
taped on your front door. All checks should be payable to IIAM
Foundation.
We are looking for representatives to help spread
the word of this event. We need volunteers to represent
neighborhoods/subdivisions or businesses to advertise the event through any
means possible. This could be delivering flyers, utilizing a website,
talking to neighbors/co-workers, etc. If you are able to assist in this
manner, please email treeprogram@iamableton.org to tell us what or who you can represent. This is another opportunity to fulfill
your volunteer hours. Please contact us as soon as possible to have your
participation noted.

Group for their generous donation of two trucks
and drivers which makes this event possible.
STUDENT ART SHOW THIS FRIDAY
Come and see our student's fine artwork!
This Friday, December 12, IIAM will display hundreds of pieces of art created by our students, uinder the direction and tutelage of Ms. Donna Binns, our art teacher.
We're displaying the collection in the cafeteria after school on Friday. THe event is open to the public, and free of charge.
Come out and support the creativity and style of our students!
